New 2017 Edition of NFPA 70 Released

Did you know that the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has released a new 2017 edition of its National Electrical Code® (NEC)? The most widely used technical document in the world, the NEC® helps protect people and property from hazards associated with electrical energy by providing safe installation practices for electrical equipment and systems.

The 2017 edition includes five new articles and several new and clarified rules that your Safety & Health Department will need to be aware of. For example, there are new rules covering reconditioned electrical equipment, meeting spaces, and emergency response personnel protection. Learn more about the changes here.

Is Your Facility in Compliance?

To help your organization get up-to-date on the new NEC®, we are working with 35-year electrical industry veteran Bobby Gray to bring electrical safety training to our community. Bobby is a principal member of several NFPA electrical standard technical committees and works with us to bring joint safety solutions to our clients. Learn more about our training classes below.
