On the evening of March 12, 2015, the day after the 4-year anniversary of the Tohoku earthquake and the resulting Fukushima nuclear power plant accident, Japanese public broadcasting station NHK-TV aired a news segment in Japan that featured Richland-based radiation protection firm Dade Moeller.

Senior Health Physicist Eugene (Gene) H. Carbaugh has been elected to a three-year term as Chairman of the U.S. Department of Energy Laboratory Accreditation Program (DOELAP) Radiobioassay Oversight Board. Gene has served as a member of the Oversight Board for 12 years.
