The "Sunny Dades" Walk for Life!

Dade Moeller sponsored a team of 14 Richland employees and friends for the 2011 Relay for Life of the Columbia River. A nationwide signature activity for the American Cancer Society, the event raises money to fight cancer in local communities.

On June 10-11, the "Sunny Dades" took shifts to continuously walk around a track in an overnight event to honor those who are surviving cancer, those who have died from it, and for the efforts of all who fight it.

With all our fundraisers and team member donation collections, the "Sunny Dades" raised a total of $5,097.50 for the American Cancer Society. This is the third year that the Dade Moeller office in Richland has participated in this.

Judson Kenoyer Named Fellow of AIHA

May 18, 2011


Judson L. Kenoyer, a certified industrial hygienist, has been named to the 2011 Fellow Class of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). Kenoyer, who also is a certified health physicist, is a Fellow of the Health Physics Society as well and is now the only living person to have earned the honor of being a “double Fellow” of these two organizations.

Dade Moeller Tapped to Provide Radiation Services to U.

Richland, Wash. – Washington-based radiation protection firm Dade Moeller (www.moellerinc.com) has been busy fielding requests from U.S. and Japanese companies concerned with potential radioactive contamination from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on their employees and assets, including finished products, manufacturing equipment, buildings, and parts or ingredients. Dade Moeller has responded by providing both pro-bono information and tailored services, as well as by expanding its public outreach efforts.

Father and Son, Dade and Matt Moeller, Featured in Health Physics News

The HP Gene tells the personal story behind Dade Moeller: the man, his son Matt, and the company he came to create in his father’s name. “When your father is professor emeritus and former associate dean at Harvard University and all three of your older brothers are successful specialists in medicine, it is not easy to shine in their shadow. However, Matt Moeller has done just that, helped in part by his inherited HP gene and a remarkable passion for his work."
