The recent NORM study published by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) found potential radiological impacts in several phases of Marcellus Shale gas operations. As a result of their findings, organizations involved in several types of activities are going to need to include radiation safety as a part of their occupational EH&S programs.
