We've Joined the AAMD!

We're very pleased to announce that Dade Moeller is now a Corporate Member of the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD)!

AAMD is the professional society for Medical Dosimetrists -- specialized members of medical teams who work in radiation oncology departments in hospitals and clinics.

A Medical Dosimetrist designs treatment plans for patients, based on the radiation dose prescription written by the physician.

We have noticed in the last few years an increase in OSHA citations (and fines!) related to organizations' violations of the NFPA Life Safety Code (NFPA 101).

From Oak Ridge to Richland, and everywhere in between, we had an awesome time with our American Heart Association Six-Week Summer Walking Challenge! We had 55 employees enrolled on the Association's website to track their steps and activities over the 6 weeks.

We've got lots of data that came out of the Challenge, including:

On Thursday, May 10, Senior Health Physicist Alan Fellman, Ph.D., CHP, volunteered some time to speak to Ms. Sunila Varghese's 6th grade class at Robert Frost Middle School in Rockville, Maryland.
