RICHLAND, Wash. – Tri-Cities environment, safety, and health firm Dade Moeller announces that Accounting Specialist Amber Dosch has been voted unanimously to the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross Benton-Franklin Chapter for a three-year term. The Chapter will be well-served by Dosch’s skills in procurement, fundraising, event planning, and communications.
A graduate of Washington State University and Columbia Basin College, Dosch began volunteering with the Red Cross by serving as Procurement Chair on the Rouge Royale Committee. Rouge Royale is one of the three fundraising events the Chapter holds each year. As Procurement Chair, Dosch is responsible for securing donations from local companies and ensuring overall organization for the event. Rouge Royale will be held on June 7, 2013, at the Stone Ridge Event Center in Pasco and will feature a gourmet dinner, wine, and silent and live auctions. Dosch has plans to serve on the Chapter’s Fund Development Committee as well.
“I have always had a passion for helping others in need and improving the community in which I live,” said Dosch. “As a volunteer and Board member, I can give a hand up to people in their time of need and help improve lives. In turn, those whom I help may be inspired to help others in the future.”
Dade Moeller is a corporate partner of the Red Cross and continues to support Chapter fundraisers. In March 2013, Dade Moeller will be a second-time sponsor of the Real Heroes Breakfast, the Chapter’s largest annual event. Dade Moeller also has held three Red Cross blood drives at its Richland headquarters, the most recent in January of this year, collecting a 1.5-year total of 66 units of life-saving blood. Last year, Dade Moeller was recognized as the Benton-Franklin Chapter’s “New Partner of the Year.”
Dade Moeller’s Human Resources Department Manager, Roshelle Pavlin, also serves on the Board of Directors.
